It is important that key people in your office or factory are aware of the steps to be taken in case of a fire in terms of raising the alarm, evacuating everyone safely and fighting the fire (if safe to do so). Would your receptionist be aware of the procedure to follow if she received a bomb threat? This question and many more will be answered in GMC Fire Service's 2 hour onsite Warden Training course. All participants who successfully answer the review questions will be given a Fire Warden Certificate. Would your storeman know whether to reach for a fire hose or a fire extinguisher if a small fire broke out? Would your accountant know how to use the extinguisher near the switchboard if a small fire broke out? These questions and more will be answered in GMC Fire Service's 2 hour onsite Fire Awareness and Use of Portable Fire Fighting Equipment course. All participants will be given the opportunity to extinguish a flame and all participants who successfully answer the review questions will be given a certificate. The courses can also be combined into a 3 hour session which covers everything you need to know about workplace fire safety. These courses can all be delivered on your site for a maximum of 15 participants per session at a time to suit you. Training can be delivered anywhere in and around Sydney, particularly in Campbelltown and Macarthur but extending to Newcastle, Wollongong, the Southern Highlands and the Blue Mountains.
