Pottery Classes for Children Hand Building & Wheel Throwing techniques taught Monday afternoon: 4.00pm-5.30pm Age 5+ Suburb: Oakleigh South (7mins from Chadstone Shopping Centre) Classes run for 8 weeks for the duration of the school term as per below: Monday 14th Feb – 4th April Fee: $150.00 Includes: clay, under glaze paints, glazes, firing costs & use of all pottery equipment including x 8 pottery wheels, slab roller, extruder & x 2 kilns Class sizes are small (max 8). Children are encouraged to work on their own projects, exploring individuality & self expression whilst interacting with other members of the group and learning about the techniques and chemistry of the process. Children have the opportunity to take home finished pieces for use within the home or give away as gifts to family and friends.
